| This site has now been running in one form or another for around 5 years, more permanently since around 1998. I now feel there is a need to explain the reasons why I am doing this site.
Obviously the main reason is my main love of Billy Childish's contribution to music, art and poetry. As this is the obvious choice I won't dwell on it. The secondary reason is my love of computers and the internet. As the site has been running purely as a hobby site I can only devote a certain amount of time to it. So if you wish to help you can by either providing me with information, records, buying books or even simply going to one of the adverts. due to the lack of time, when I start a new layout for a section. I rarely have time to work that design into the many old pages. One day I may completely revamp the whole site until then you will have to make do with the haphazard way I have done things. Therefore what I thought was good two or three years ago and now looks terrible could still be lurking on the site somewhere. You may not realize this, but there are now over 100 pages within the site. 
I like to try out different ideas on layout and design and don't have time to test them in all browsers or environments and so some pages may not look as good to you as they do to me. For the techno-bods out there, I am using a humble Pentium 233 MMX with 128MB ram and a 33.6 modem. Running Windows 98, mostly IE5 and a screen resolution of 800x600. The site looks fine on that configuration. Your input into the site is much appreciated, no matter how large or small. Such as Billy is doing a world wide tour and it's not on the site (we'd be so lucky) or there is a spelling mistake (that is more likely to happen). As Billy is so prolific he has little time for the web, although he does feed me information from time to time, it is fans like yourselves that provide with a lot of information, which I can then share with the rest of the world.
